now my Internet and Email privileges have been permenatley removed :l.

grr much? I need to do two ICT GCSEs in the space of just a few months. *no school internet - much help* all for using a proxy at lunch, ie free time? :l!


Theyve got strict on everything this year.
Oh and I have a meeting with my parents and head of ict about it.

All proxy websites are blocked at my school, we have found out how to bypass the filter tho :P

go in notepad,
type command.com
save as batch.bat
close notepad and open batch.bat in the folder you saved it
and wen you type ping then the webadress (example: "ping ebuddy.com")
theres an ip that comes up in them sqaure brackets "[""]" and theres an ip in thu middle type in http://"then ip" and it works :D

so yeh if you do try it, make sure you don't get court haha

my school updated everything over the summer holidays, so they use a new proxy so we can connect to the internet.

this proxy does not have a filter on it :P but its password protected :P and we have to use the login that we're logged into the computers with to activate it :P so we do get tracked

Anyways about the internet, we just pull out the internet cable from the PC and put it in again, it disconnects you from the server then when you plug it in again you rejoin it however you rejoin it AFTER all the users internet got switched off so your internet is still on. ;)

IT at my school is extremely lax. Students use proxies all the time. Sure, they get blocked. But new ones are always created!

Proxies are becoming old though. Most of us take out our proxy bypass through the registry.

All this doesn't phase me much, I have an account with staff access (cause I am the tech king at my school), and that automatically bypasses the filter, so it's all good!
