Completety forgot how to do it (dont make it difficult) Also show working outs
2x = 6

6 divided by 2 leaves you with
x = 3

Cos i thought you were just saying the 3 for what it equalled. haha.
Ok let's try that again.

I think this is right, but I haven't done these for a while now
Divide both sides by 2 (on the top row) so you're left with
x = 3

it's 2x/3=6
so you multiply both sides by 3 to get
2x=18
x=9

Ahh I see, well it's been a while since I've done maths, it isn't useful to me now so why did they teach me it.
