Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho does not want to succeed Steve McClaren as England manager, BBC Sport understands.
Mourinho, 44, has been out of football since leaving Stamford Bridge in September but is believed to be waiting for a club rather than a national post.

Seen it coming? How so? And "hasn't got anything to work with"? Are you mad? You just can't see see past the "young and upcoming" team Scotland supposedly have. There's plenty of talent un-tapped into in the england squad.

Fairly surprised actually, a fair amount of the guy at Chelsea who were unhappy with him being told to go are England players so he'd have got on well there, and I think he's basically respected by everyone.

Saw an article today on BBC news somewhere (cba looking it up now) which said he claimed he wasn't going to say if he was interested in the position or not unless he was approached about it, but also made it fairly clear that he likely was into the idea.
