Steve Mclaren is the bookies favourite at 5/2 which is just hilarious, but I also think it could be good news for Derby. However I'd rather stick with Billy. P Jewel also has good odds, just not as good as the Brolly Wally's :P

he didnt buy the right player before the season began
it will take a miracle for them to stay up and whoever is given that job will be a hero in derby if he manages to stear them clear of relegation.

mutual consent always means sacked

they spent:

3 million on claude davis
3.5 million on rob earnshaw
3 million for kenny miller
1 million for tyrone mears

they are all flops especially the top 2
kenny miller has done okay for them but isnt scoring the goals they need.

I was quite surprised he went becuase he done so well to get him there in the first place against the odds but I suppose after such a bad start they have to find someone else to pull them out of their slump. I doubt they'll stay up unless they spend mega in January transfer window.

Teams who always come up from the championship try and buy one of the top goal scorers from the championship when they came up. I.e derby buying rob earnshaw, complete flop, doesnt even play. Anyway, they had no realistic chance of staying up this year. Whichever man takes over, all i can say is good luck to him..

The main stupid decision, it's not cos Billy Davies is crap, it's cos Derby are crap. There is nothing else he could have done, Derby just can't hack life in the Prem. They will always be a lower league club. :D
