After 11 years of running the ECML (east coast mainline), GNER have now been taken over by National Express.

And my father is now the Managing Director of this part of National Express, instead of just Travel London. :)
On a side note, Travel London also no longer exists, and is now also part of this.

Oh yeah... nothing's changed! Apart from the whole classiness of travelling with GNER. Even standard class honestly feels like first class. National Express are taking a bit of British heritiage away :(
I am deeply saddened by this... have you seen how ugly the trains are now. Long live the Flying Scotsman!!!
GNER trains used to excite me to a disturbing extent. :( *sad*
