Tottenham have completed the signing of Jonathan Woodgate from Middlesbrough.

Woodgate has made the move to White Hart Lane after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

Tottenham beat Newcastle to the England international's signature after the St James' Park outfit also agreed a fee with Middlesbrough for Woodgate.

Woodgate is Tottenham's second signing of this month's transfer window following the capture of Chris Gunter from Cardiff.

The former Leeds man could make his Spurs debut in Wednesday's Premier League clash at Everton.

Good signing for Spurs.

How's it a good signing for spurs, in his whole career he's yet to make 200 competitive starts because he's that unreliable with injuries..

Makes sense that he goes to Spurs actually.. :rolleyes_ :)

Well, when he does start, he's a great player.
