I was a passenger on the plane that was above the Airbus GT-500.

It is a Boeing 747, it was very traumatic for us.

"On March 27, 1977, Flight 4805, a Boeing 747-206B, PH-BUF & Pan Am Flight 1736, a Boeing 747-121, N736PA, collided at Tenerife North Airport, Canary Islands, killing 583 people. The incident has the highest number of fatalities (excluding ground fatalities) of any single accident in aviation history."

Lol - I would and have flown in winds like that.

Nothing wrong with it, a few gusts, missed approach.. So you go around and try again - Not rocket science really.

The minute the wing scraped the ground, I think i'd kiss my life away... it really doesn't take much for it to grab a little too much of the ground, or for the engine to touch down, and then the plane would be totally out of control.

No thank you. I'd rather imagine being on Nemesis in Alton Towers than be on that. It looks like something out of an action movie. Did anyone see that picture of the plane practically hovering in a London airport? I think it was London anyway.

That plane crashed.

No it didn't. The wing scraped the floor so they took off again finally landing safely in a different airport 20 minutes later.

Was it a 747?

If so, i've seen that video, the pilot does a really nice job at landing.

Might've been... It was going right against the wind, and it was pretty spectacular to see. The last few weeks have really showcased the talent within the piloting scene.
