ipod touch streaming help..

I know I posted this last month, but no one replied so I'll do it again :P

is there a way to get live audio feeds onto your iPod if it's connected via wifi? I tried to open a livee audio feed, the file type was a .m3u and my ipod wouldnt open it, is there a way to get it so that it can do so?
