Ok, what is the point behind nascar? and why do people watch it.
I ask this because I watched some the other day - texas championship or something.

I presumed people watched it for the speed, but when the speedo's came up on the screen they were doing an average of 180 on the straights...

comparing to F1, F1 cars can do up to about 220 mph and F1 has right turns :O

any nascar fans want to share what makes them watch nascar week in and out?
Because I'm really failing to see it.

How is driving slow and turning left for 500 laps not exhilarating?

They crash in F1 too, if anything the crashes in F1 are more dangerous, as the drivers are literally sat on the floor and don't have a lot of protection like the nascars have.

nascar crashes involve more cars though = bigger = better

There was a crash quite a few years ago which involved like 10 cars but I can't find it.
