New Phone - eBay & Unlocking Questions...

Okay so I need a new phone..

I want to get a cheap one from eBay ;)

Firstly I want to know is;
What are the pros and cons of buying phones on eBay?

Secondly, If I was to buy, say a W810i but it's on Vodaphone. How can you unlock it so I could use it on another network (or simcard)

Just like any normal shop you buy the phone off ebay then phone up vodafone they give you an unlock code and there ya go no fuss
