We did the religious studies short course which involved no coursework at all. Here is the thing though, we actually completed the first half of our GCSE in Year 9 with the Islam topic. Then the second in Year 10 with the Christianity topic.

It is such an easy topic to pass, I am sure you will do well because I found no difficulty with it at all really.

I didnt take R.S for GCSE, if you are religious you dont need to learn about your religion again and if you arent religious then you probably arent interested. I am all for learning about other cultures and stuff but when it takes up a whole GCSE I dont see the point espec. when you do it anyway just in smaller amounts

I Dont believe in god. But my R.E teacher says you dont have to, its about what other people believe not just you.

But Who cares what others believe. Really.

When I did it we had a piece of c/w in year 10 and 11 and then 2 exams at the end of year 11 that were 1.5 hours each.

The short course however we had no coursework and a 2 hour exam in year 11.

The thing with c/w if it's worth a lot you can like make sure it's a good grade so even though it's a lot of work now at least you don't have to fully rely on an exam grade (:

We do 50% of the test in year 10 on J1 to J5
Then 50% of test in year 11 on C1 to C5

in year 10 one i got 94% xoxo.
just basically write "Jesus did this because god loves us..."
and you get good marks

I'm in Year 9, I chose to do PB (RE) GCSE,
for some people, they could opt to do PB A-Level, which I heard is incredibly hard. :P
