yo.
I am down to take:
• Physical Education
• Photography
• Media Studies
• Maths (Statistics)

However, I don't want to take Photography or Maths for definate. Unsure about Media Studies.
I am unable to take Human Biology :blue_doub because it requires at least a B in Eng. Language and I can only get a C (Foundation). But I definately don't want to do Chemistry/Physics/Biology.

I'm thinking of taking Psychology.

Could people possibly tell me what they took/what they think I should go for?

Well the choice (sp? O_o) is yours, but photography/ media aren't strong subjects to take. I despise psychology, can't wait to drop it in a few weeks. You don't get tested on psychology really, just case studies you have to remember. It was totally different to what I expected. ALOT of people fail it or do badly (like me) too. I am enjoy AS graphics and geography at the moment though.

There was a thing on at the college last night.
Worked out what I'm taking. :P

• Physical Education
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Media Studies

Still so peeved that I can't take Human Biology. :blue_doub

Human Biology instead of Media Studies would have been exactly what I wanted to do and so useful for courses at Uni.
ie. Sports Psychology and also Sports Science.

Should be fun, 'cept maybe bits of english. No idea what I want to do when i leave, so chose things I'd enjoy as well as those being useful.

What's wrong with psychology Jack?

What's wrong with psychology Jack?
I took it thinking it would be really interesting... how wrong was I!
My friends are in the same situation as me in sociology. I wouldn't call it a subject; it is just remembering LOADS of case studies and basically explaining them, which is the complete opposite to what I thought it'd be. 80% of people in my year at college got a D or below and in my class only 3/4 people are continuing with it next year.

I'm currently doing:

Maths
Physics
Chemistry
Psychology

Can't wait to drop Chemistry next year. Psychology is pretty good but there is so much content to remember and a lot of case studies to learn.

Barmi

Nearly finished these, yay!

English Literature
Law (lots of content to learn and case law)
Government & Politics (lots of content to learn and illustrative examples)
Mathematics

Critical Thinking and General Studies are already out the way, but they are virtually throwaway.
