lol i was just stating that Everton finished above Zenit yet they didn't even get to the final because of getting knocked out in the penaltys.

I dont see how Boro in the Premiership is the same. Thats a League, not a Cup & a stupid 3 game league.

Yeah Everton were seriously unlucky, if we didn't go to penalties with Fiorentina we could've went all the way tbh. If Everton were the only team in the whole league to beat Zenit, it obviously shows that we do have some potential still. :)

Zenit did not win through to the final on penalties. They drew 1-1 with Bayern in the first leg, and won 4-0 in the second.
