Welcome back :8!

Sorry about that, took quite a while to upgrade the forum, make the changes we wanted to make and ensure everything runs smoothly.

For those that haven't noticed, the forum has been upgraded to 3.7.1 (latest stable version). 3.7 offers us many new features, both backend and for users to explore although all the new user features have been disabled.

One thing you will notice is that user profiles are "tabbed" now instead of the old style where you just have everything on one page. Facebook will be moving to a style like this within the next few weeks (or so they plan :P).

There probably are, as always, bugs have cropped up after the upgrade so please report any you find in the bug tracker found here:

So what are these changes we have made I hear you yelling?

First of all, everyone's record has been wiped clean. All infractions and user notes have been removed therefore everyone has a clean start.
We have just removed all the inactive VIP sub forums.
We have introduced a new group where new registered users a placed into. This group is "under moderation" therefore all new posts (until they have 15 moderated posts) must be approved by the moderation team before they are posted. This is to keep spammers and trollers off the forum as they seem to enjoy the freedom of making new accounts. Obviously this won't stop those that are very determined but it will help us catch many of them a lot faster.
Warnings now result in no punishments but serve as a reminder of the forum rules.
A caution will serve as a final warning being stronger punishments take place.
Those that break the forum rules and manage to add up to 5 infractions will now be cautioned instead of temporarily banned. Once they gain 6 infractions, they are are temporarily banned for 1 day. Once they gain 7 they will be temp banned for 2 days and so on until 10 infractions where they will be permanently banned. You can obviously still be perm banned if a smod/admin feels you are only here to cause trouble.
2 new infractions have been put in place. One for trolling and one for being rude to staff.
A new moderator guide has been released with emphasis on common sense instead of the guide being the moderators "law of action".
Threads up to 10 days of last being posted in can now be replied to without it ending up locked (as long as more information is being added and/or contributing to the discussion) although this will be up to a moderator to decide, depending if the discussion can continue and other factors.
We hope you enjoy these changes and look out for the new features to roll out!

In regards to the support system, we are still awaiting on the company to sort the problem we have out.

Have a great weekend :eusa_whis!

Please note that we are well aware of the default images being used. We are working to get that fixed by the end of the day.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Also note that we will be unbanning any caution banned users and unbanning any temporarily banned users very shortly.
