Just got a conversion kit, they are as white and bright as anything (loads better than the factory yellow ones that are on most cars) :D:

Well if they improve visibility and are legal that can only be good, were they expensive?£80 for a HID conversion kit, though you can just buy Xenon bulbs if you want whiter lights (not as bright though) for a few quid. :P

I drive a Yaris 1.0 GLS, quite fancy a Yaris TSport but they have a 1.5 engine, I am also considering a VW Polo or a Golf, just can't decide! Oh must be 3dr hatchback :P

Haha, I'm still a teenager, if I can find a pic of a TSport, you might think differently. Reliability is important to me, Toyota's are reliable.

Yeah I prefer a Polo, and may need to work a little harder to afford it.

Thanks for the pic, I had just found one, although I did try finding a red one but couldn't :P I think they are more suitable for females. Clios aren't bad but we all have our own personal choice and I do prefer a Polo, if I do change and I'm still around I will post a pic ;) and blind you lol.

The ones in between ming a bit.

HID converstion kit = well worth it. :)

Was the conversion hard to do? I love driving the GS at night, the clean crisp light is really good for night time driving, also when I drove the 745 during the winter they were really good for driving in snow. I don't want to touch ANYTHING electrical (wires, switches, fuses, relays ect..)

Do you have like HID bulbs or the full HID conversion with transformers and stuff?

jesus
01-07-2008, 04:01 PM
It took about 40 minutes to get everything done, it's a full HID conversion with ballasts etc. etc. :)

I seriously doubt he will rally down around the side streets in south london.

Did you have to do anything electrical besides plug in the wires?

jesus

No, it was kind of 'plug and play' (no wire cutting or anything). :)
