Luton Town have been deducted 20 points for the upcoming season and will now start the season on -30 points.

No link as of yet but when I see one I'll post it.

Luton to face 30-point deduction

Luton Town will start next season on minus 30 points after a ruling by the Football League.
The Hatters had already been deducted 10 points by the Football Association after being found guilty of misconduct for paying agents via a third party.
And the company which has taken over the club has now been told it must accept a further 20-point deduction in order to take its place in League Two.
The penalty is because Luton failed to satisfy the League's insolvency rules.

It is the third time in 10 years that the club has fallen foul of the Football League's insolvency policy, with this latest episode coming after it was unable to agree a Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) to exit administration.
The Football League board also imposed the condition that Luton Town 2020 must pay any unsecured creditors 16p in the pound.
The enormous point deduction will give Luton an extraordinarily difficult task to avoid relegation for the third season in a row. The club is expected to respond with a statement at about 1715 BST. More to follow.

Sorry Jordie, but I think your season is over before it's even started.

So you'll have to get what, 70 points just to survive this season?

Best of luck with that.

Cherries also preparing to start the season with a -15 start.

But wow, 30 points off.. staggering.

I can't believe they could get relegated to the Conference Premier now.

3 successive relegations from Championship to Conference.

That would be very awkward if that happened, and I don't know if the club would bounce back from that.

we wont survive and like brandon said that will be 3 relegations in 3 seasons. its a shame really because we werent a bad side in the championship but former owners have ripped the heart out of the club.
the only positive from this is we still have a club to support thanks to ltfc 2020 and hopefully we can bounce back soon.

these people are ruining football
and they will ruin bournemouth and rotherham's season very soon.

Its harsh taking 30 points off from a league two side, that league is hard to get out of in the first place.

Its not very good because you guys a good side like when you nearly beat liverpool last season. But if you broke some rules then i guess it is fair.

I hope the likes of you Rotherham and Bourthmath stay in the leauges and turn into another Gretna. Soon there wont be any good league 2 teams.
