They're changing Coach G on their Pendolinos to Standard Class, so basically, If you have a standard class ticket, you can sit in Coach G which has first class seats !

July 14th - September 6th.

Although you can basically sit in first class you wont get any first class service

what i ment was in first class everyone get a plug point if they want it unlike standed class :P sorry it was early :P

Plug for laptops and mobiles to charge up? There on standard coaches as well.

As Garner said, they are at every seat lol.
Wi-fi will also be added to VWC services too.

What are you on about? All the seats in 1st class have a power socket but only table seats
in standard class have power sockets

Well the ones I been on, all standard class. I been sat at the window and down below there is a plug.

Only once have I seen plugs on Virgin in standard class..

The rest of the time they don't exist!

Voyager or pendelino?

Edit: I have it! On voayger trains all the seats have plugs but on pendelino trains only table seats have plugs!

Some Pendolino's do have Power-Sockets in standard class on the 2+2 seating, not at every seat though.
When Pendos were ordered, they were created as 8Car trains, with the 9th car being added in at a later date... I think it's 9th car with the power-sockets in.
