Right, I thought that we needed a pre-season friendlies thread seeing as people keep posting their teams matches. So here it is ;P
So far these are the pre-season friendly results for Wolves & Orient.

I'm guessing this season's away kit is yellow as the Algrave kit they played in today is exactly like that but with a yellow body and blue sleeves.

I'm not sure about the away kit, that was the only one they had on FSC. I would guess it is.

As a Bristol City fan said, we have to find 10 matching shirts from TK Maxx. The kit's being revealed for the Ajax game. The home that is and the away is being released some time in June, probably.

City's is on Channel 5 next Sunday against Hamburg, then it's AC Milan on the 9th (I think) which is also on Channel 5 then you can watch the second leg of the Cup on ITV4, you could also have watched the first leg because it was on Setanta. Dammmmm, were on TV a lot! :D

We hope not but we are in fear of going down this season with are sqaud.

We dont have a number of players for roation. We sold about 10 this windows and only bought in 4. And all 4 have looked poor this pre season.

We need at least 4 more players and a couple of loans.

Im hoping to go and see the game at roots hall then but im not to sure atm.

Ive already got my ticket for the game, should be good atmosphere we will bring about 1,500 id say if we are given more tickets as we have only been given 1000 so far.

Oh btw we are also playing West Ham at home aswel next tuesday

The away end holds about 2,000 and roots hall is a v nice stadium. Creates atmosphere and its got a nice set of fans too.

Roots Hall isn't that bad. Well, it's quite good going to a ground that can actually hold less than you. Went up on the Sunday, won 3-0, good laugh shouting at the Sky Sports men and their guys warming up on the sides. If you took lots of fans you could probably get a good atmosphere.

They're playing weak teams because they're in the Feyenoord Jubilee Tournament next week. Well, when I say weak I mean good players but not their full team.

playing in the SPL must get so boring for Celtic & Rangers. Yeah they've got the Champions League/UEFA Cup but that's about it.. because they play all the same teams in the cups.

If they got accepted into the English leagues I don't think they'd make it out of League 1.

Celtic and Rangers could make it in the Premier League. They'd struggle at first but they'd work their way up. They both have huge fan bases and would fill the away end and probably even more at all grounds. Teams won't like travelling to Scotland to play them. Give them about 5 years and they'd be challenging for UEFA Cup. You've only got to look at Rangers success in the UEFA Cup to show that hey can beat some big name teams.

We were ******* awful. Really should have been 3/4 goals down by half-time. Second-half we came back into it but still looked like a bunch of headless chickens.

I'd of gave MoM to Danny Carlton, and he only played 15min towards the end :$. He is quality.

Wycombe Wanders 1 - 2 Southend United.

We played well in the first half . We have been playing a diamond formation this pre season but it fails to work for us. We started 4-4-2 and played like we should be.

We switced back to diamond 2nd half and played poorly.

Only let one in due to bad defending but its a major confidence booast ahed of Peterborugh on Sat.

Dos santos is a v good player from what i saw. How much was he from barca?

I still think you need 2 new cbs and a new creative player aswell as strong centre Midfielder.

Seeing this its going to be a good season for you guys. 2 Trophys in under 12 months for Ramos.

4.5m for Dos Santos I think, with add-ons if they sell him within 3 years or something.

Modric is out new creative player! :p But yeah, we probably will get another CB. King and Woodgate are hardly the most reliable players injury-wise.

@Nereo it's only pre-season, they might nto have fielded their full squad.

Corby Town 2-2 Peterborough Utd

Before anyone says anything the players that played for us in that game were about 4 of the players who are on the transfer list for us, a couple of players from first team comming back from injury and the rest were Youth team players. Not bad seeing as tho Corby overcome Grimsby Town at corby's ground 2 weeks ago 3-1 and i think it was Grimsby's first team.

We are at home to Man Utd first team tonight. Should be a good entertaining game ;)

I was proud the way we played agenst a very good man utd side. As you can see they had a very good team playing against us. Rooney and Carrick both had viruses so did not play dunno about Giggs & Scholes i think both were warming up before the game though

I watched it on a link and you played ok in the 2nd half. That Boyd did ok.

Indeed he did.

Because Drogbas injured, Scolari has been allowed to play Anelka in his primary position.
That's the only place he can play, why Grant didn't play Drogs and Anelka upfront I'll never know because that's potentially lethal.

Yeah i got my match ticket about 2 weeks ago and im getting the train there with quite a few others at about 7:30am saturday morning as we are making a day of it, we will be there about 10:30

Apart from the scoreline and the team, yes. As Cardiff were so helpful with the organisation of the F.A. Cup match they agreed to play a friendly against us.

Gillinghams was a mix tbh, some great performances in the 1-1 draw with Ipswich and the 2-0 loss against Birmingham but poor results against weak sides such as Stevenage and Grays but thats for Preseason is for! bring on league 2!
