Vaughn's gone for a golden quacker... again.

Why do they pick him? He's atrocious and should never be picked let alone be captain, Jesus Christ.

68-2 now.

This new does not please me.

Let's do a nice proper line-up.

Cook
Strauss
Bell
Pietersen
Shah
Flintoff
Foster
Broad
Sidebottom
Anderson
Panesar

Much better.

Changing captains suddenly can have terrible effects on a teams morale. Its like in football, consistently changing the manager could do more harm that good. :)

And sometimes it can have brilliant effects. You never learn until you try it.

Who cares?

He can't bowl, can't bat and claims to catch balls when they've bounced a metre before him.

Give it to Strice.

Reckon Cook could handle the pressure? It worked for South Africa when they appointed Smith as captain, he's still successful 6 years later.

Not sure. I think he's got his head screwed on but I'm not sure about his captain skills.

None of them are captain material if I'm that honest but if anyone Strice, Cook or Flantiff.

True, but they said he was caught out when he came off his pads not the bat, so you can't really blame him.

You can when you see the footage again and see it was nowhere near his pad.. lol, if anything touched the pads it was his bat.

Strauss and Flintoff both proved they're rubbish captains -chuckles- But at least they did make some preformances when they were captain, unlike Virgil.

It's the sort of thing that'd be worth a try against a rubbish Test nation.. oh wait we just played New Zealand for 6 months, how silly of me.

Can we not have a captain and let the opposition set our field?

Shame Rob Key isn't a better player really cos he's an awesome captain.

I don't like the way Nel bowls. He just intimidates the batsmen by screaming in their face. That's not exactly sportsmanship is it?

If everytime Cook hits a four he screamed in the bowlers face I'm sure that wouldn't be allowed.

Nel's bowling action is hilarious, it always looks like he's tripping over. But yeah Gunther isn't very sportsmanlike, I'm amazed he gets away with it as much as he does, if it was England (Monty and his appeals, for example) then they would of been penalised.
