I picked History for an option and I'm really really regretting it. Does anyone know if your allowed to change your options or not? Obviously the option would be like my second choice from that certain box etc.

Thanks :D

In my school you were allowed to change your options in the first week, but anything after that then you had to stick with what you chose.

History = crap

You should be able to move in the first few weeks

yeah but you gotta do it asap. if they say no to you, then get your parents to complain. thats what i did and manage to change populations in year 10 and media classes this year even though they said no to me on both occasions.

I think if you speak to your head of year, they might change you.

I love History, the hard work does pay off. I hated it at the start, wanted to quick but I didn't and now its one of my favourite subjects. You can most probably still change but you will need to be quick because your first history essays are in soon and this could maybe cause problems.

I thought History was a good GCSE But it's down to peoples tastes. I know what you mean about teachers. I'm doing AS History, and we have a really good teacher, and one that can't read out of a book properly... Anyway, as others have said you should be able to change it :)

We're not allowed to change for 3 weeks because they think otherwise people will base their opinions on 2/3 lessons.
