I personally think my English teacher marks pretty harshly when it comes to coursework, I spent about 6+ hours on this piece checking it was right and got a C+ this is what he said was wrong with it

Use Size 12 Font
Better Structure
Dont Contradict Yourself
He clearly told me to argue for and against and then show the more strong points towards my argument. What does Structure mean?}
Can someone help me here?
It was an essay on Capital Punishment.

Bascially, if he says argue for an against you're best off choosing your side on the argument then making 6 points for, and 2 against your argument. E.g. I am against this issue because ......
On the other hand I can see how people would feel that this issue is.....

omg, thats what my coursework was on LOL

like put 2 main points that are for and against it like

intro - u could say how long a life sentence is and how its not rly long enough

blahhhhhhhh another train of though suggests blahhhhhhhhh

then conclude it saying what u think

Structuring being; introduction, paragraphs on whatever you are talking about (1 for each point), evaluation.

Yeah, I had loads, he said I contridicted myself too much though.
My english teacher is a stoner though seriously.
I even included quotes from the Bible and Gandhi!

are u not suppost to contridict yourself though, because its arguing from 2 peoples points of views?

You're not meant to argue fully for the point against though, just show you can understand another point of view.
