its not the highest in the table 1st
its not alphabetical order

It's based on estimates of how many people will be interested in that particular game. Like, give it an entertainment value and divide the number of fans by that - hypothetically of course but I think it's generally based on entertainment value. Hence why Fulham and Bolton are usually last.

I don't like Match of the Day at all, favouritism in the programme is ridiculous. I remember before they put a crappy 0-0 draw between Chelsea and Liverpool on first which lasted about half an hour. Then right at the end they managed to show Boro beating Man U 3-0 which lasted about 1 minute.
