In order to bring a better service to the users of HabboxForum.com it has been decided that we will be running a major overhaul of our servers over the next couple of weeks.
We will be mainly focusing on optimizing our current servers so they work with our ever expanding forums a lot better.
Part of this maintenance will bring around intermittent downtimes during when we have taken our servers offline or restarting them to include new software changes although we dont expect these downtimes to be too frequent nor last too long. We will aim to keep these downtime periods during the off peak period, (3am - 2pm).
Our main objectives are,
Faster execution and delivery of pages
Reduced page loading times
Increased stability of software
Faster and more comprehensive indexing and searching of content
Increased searching stability
Faster execution time of new posts and editing (edit lag issue)
Although the actual overhaul will not take long it will be the optimizing that may take several weeks.
So ONWARDS to a better habboxforum.
