I'm fed up of the "Manchester is red" comments I kept on getting so I decided to stop posting in here for a while. So let's just put this to bed before I start posting in here again.

You don't know when your team is playing.
Gather some statistics to make up for yourself ;).

Becuase i have just woken up after playing a massive hockey match. This also proves city aren't worth traveling to see. Where as i fly out every other week or so to see United play.

How does it? You don't know that City don't have fans all over the world that come to see them after the takeover, or even before that. Also maybe you should check the United website or any website with MUFC information before posting saying you don't know who your team are playing, which will get you some critism from quite a few people.

I'd rather win our matches, than have the majority of Manchester buy season tickets for United. If they rather want city season tickets, I don't mind - its their choice. We have our fans and they have theirs tbh.

Old stats, anyway so idc.

Altrincham - Red, white and black
Bolton - White and blue
Bury - White and blue
Manchester City - Blue and white
Manchester United - Red, white and black
Oldham Athletic - Blue and white
Rochdale - Blue, black and white
Stockport County - Blue and white
Wigan Athletic - Blue and white

I think it's a proven fact that Manchester is white. Every team plays in white.

Who really gives a ****, honestly? Manchester United are by far the bigger club, City will always be playing in their shadows.

Becuase i dont fly out over home game. if the play away on the south coast then ill go but yano i do have to pay about £300 to go and see any football becuase we dont have any form of leauge in Guernsey weather it's Manchester or not so it's impossible for me to ave a local team. If i did it would have to be Birmigham Aston Villa West Brom Wolves becuase im from Dudley. I do see these play sometimes but my dad comes from manchester and he has suported them since he was nine so i go with him and just picked it up from him.

75%? I think thats the percentage of Man U fans NOT from Manchester, says it all really. And Lucy you're a glory fan, you never go to games, don't make excuses. If you wanted to go, you COULD.

Browney

If she wanted to go she could? She just said, it costs £300 to go to any games so lets say she went to ALL home games, thats 19 out of 38, thats £5700 for a season. Thats comparable to a brand spanking new car, a chunk of a mortgage or a fortnight in a luxury resort in Spain. The fact she makes an effort once in a while, multiple hour flights, hundreds of pounds spent is impressive to me. I have more respect for a fan like her than a lazy season ticket holder who just doesnt go when they cannot be bothered or when its a Carling Cup match.

Well, if you look on TV.
A quarter of the fans are chinese, with cameras, like "wowww wayne wooney!! "
A quarter are Indian, especially the ones who are always in the camera behind the dugout.
A quarter are lil kids about 10 years old going with parents for a "once in a lifetime" experience, its self-explanatory really :)

Yeh,
And to get tickets u gotta be a member to one-united
only some games go onto public sale.

Geraint
07-12-2008, 08:42 PM
so if people joined one-united and went to more games, they wouldn't struggle to go to games.

In Lucy's case, she lives in Guersney and supports Man Utd. Being in Guernsey, there are no football teams and the closest teams are in France. To travel to Manchester it costs £300 a time or whatever.

My advice:
Support Cherbourg and swim to home games. Sorted.

Maybe because people support Manchester United because they win things?
Because they go into JJB and buy a shirt, therefore they're a REAL fan?
Because they've never been to a match before?

I know a guy who lives in OZ but traveled over recently and spent well over £5,000 on what I think was Shalke, Manchester United, PSG and then Fulham. £5,000 and over on four games. Anything else you wish to say?

Every weekday match walking to dinner, I see a group of Man Utd fans gathering outside a bus stop on their way to Old Trafford. I know they're making an effort but I don't think I've ever seen the same person. I hate it so much. One day, I'm going to shout over "Support your local team, you ******."
