The stadium looks mint. Pity a club of Tottenham's size have to sell naming rights to their ground.

What's wrong with the Ricoh?

Just it's a large, modern, brand new stadium stuck in the championship barely reaching half capacity every other weekend. That, and because I'm from Cov taking the piss outa Spur's plight.

I thought the Ricoh was a great stadium myself. The Coventry fans to our right did their best to work up an atmosphere but no-one else joined in.

Looks like the ******* Emirates!

It is quite similar, yes. Looks like it's going to cost a bomb for a season ticket and have masses of hospitality space.

Too much competition for teams in the Midlands. People would rather go see Wolves, Birmingham or Villa. You have to take the piss out of Spurs but they're turning it around at the moment :(

I've swapped to working Saturdays & Sundays so I'm kinda losing track of the premiership =[
And we're a good team when we want to be, just we're a nothing team and they have nothing to play for. Wolves and Birms are heading for the Premiership and the Villa are doing bloody well. We haven't a chance =[

Didn't you work at the Ricoh?
Buying the wrong players I'm afraid. Mifsud doesn't seem to be playing as much and Eastwood just can't score goals at this level. Used to be a decent team with Adebola and Morrison. Ah well, there's always hope. I never expected us to be 5th in the Championship. You'll be back one day. I went to see Coventry in the Premiership once a while back, they beat Bradford City 4-0.

I did two shifts. Absolutely **** awful catering management there. Luckily I was in the corporate boxes (Eon North) so I got a few tips.
Mifsud was always good but he didn't want to play for us, he wanted Premiership and requested a transfer - earnt himself a place on the youth team for a good few months. Westwood, our newish keeper, is fairly good mind.
And yeah, I was very fortunate enough to never see Cov lose at Highfield Road, amazingly.

Unfortunately I don't think any club can afford not to sell naming rights these days.

Spurs will fill it, the current stadium is 36,000 and that is full every weekend. Plus there is a long waiting list for season tickets (20,000). Just because we aren't exactly up there with Chelski and Man U it doesn't necessarily mean that Spurs aren't supported.

(infact, we are the 7th most supported club in Britain!)

I thought of COMS myself.

The Emirates looks better due to all the lighting and effects, the Spurs one doesn't have all the effects. We shall have to see the finished effect

They're only initial concept designs aswell, shouldn't look into them too much. It probably looks so similar to other stadiums is because 90% of new, top flight stadiums are using the same bowl style, unless you wanna spend millions making a stadium like the bird's nest in Beijing I am afraid they are all going to look very similar!
