I've been eyeing this off for awhile now (2001 MITSUBISHI LANCER CE2 GLi) and i've pretty much decided on buying it. Should be able to get it within the next 2 weeks if my parentals scourage their cash together but if not, guess i'll have to be looking for a new lancer haha. More info: here (http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/private/MITSUBISHI/LANCER/details.aspx?R=6761849&postcode=4211&__sid=11F70A7BB0BF&__Nne=20&Make=MITSUBISHI&__Ns=pCar_PrivateSpecialFlag_Int32%7C1%7C%7CpCar_I mageCount_Int32%7C1%7C%7CpCar_LastModifiedDate_Dat eTime%7C1&__N=4294964597%201216%20834%20285%20257%20410&distance=50&silo=1003&seot=0&__Nf=p_GeoLocation_String%7CGCLT%20-28.12145%2c153.2336%2074.0&Cr=18&__No=20&trecs=363&PriceMax=15000)

It's costing me around $9550, but i'll probably haggle it down haha. It's like 4513pounds for you or something /shrug

It's only a 4cylinder, it's nice and economical which is pretty much a standing reason why I'm getting it. No way would I of considered buying anything that chugs through the fuel haha.

Register it under your dads name and say you are a second driver.. ends up a bit cheaper ;)

And the maximum you can get is a V6 on your P plates, well in Victoria anyway..

Yeah I think the max is a V6 is here, but if i'm driving to uni everyday I don't want to be spending so much cash on fuel.

Understood.. Just like my, I drive to the city everyday (30km??) Well, every working day, so 4-5 days a week and it'll cost heaps in fuel!!

i'm so glad you chose OEM styling on the clio and didn't go down the awful route most have with the likes of stupid bodykits, lexus lights and ridiculously stupid exhausts which have so much back pressure they actually reduce power... *clap*
