vuaxhall corsa 1.0 club

Around £1500 for me fully comp

if you want something that is under £2000 on insurance then its best if you look at the cars who have group insurance 1.

I tryed getting insured fully comp on a renault clio 1.2 for £3500!!

Small cars such as Pug 106's, Fiats, Golfs etc are good begginer cars, I'm not sure on prices for tax, insurance etc though.

Vauxhall corsa or some type of Ford (focus/fiesta) if you have the cash, my first car was a vauxhall corsa I still have it after 3 years. Brilliant car.
First time around I think was £900 on my mums insurance.
I don't actually pay my road tax or mot (mum and dad still do:P) mooooooch - i'm guessing like £120 road tax?
Services I do have to pay for and are usually like £150 a time.

That was actually spot on apart from the tax which is 145.

fully comp? whats that mean? ^^

Three levels of insurance

1- Third Party Only

2- Third Party, Fire and Theft

3- Fully comprehensive (fully comp)

Explanations:

1- Minimum level of insurance, cheapest option in terms of price of insurance insures you for any damages occured to other peoples cars or properties. So if you crash your vehicle into someone else, your insurer will only pay for the damage to the other persons car not yours.

2 - Same as above, except your insurer will pay out to you if your car catches on fire or has been stolen.

3 - Pays out regardless of the incident whether you drive your car into a river, it gets vandelised, you crash, its crashed into, your car gets broken into, your car gets stolen etc etc. More expensive option.

I used to own a real banger last year bought for £200 and just bought third party insurance as £200 out of pocket to me wasnt much. However on my actual car and my motorcycle as their combined values are in the region of 7000 I have bought fully comp on both.
