View Full Version : The annual Manure thread has not occurred yet... I wonder why

I see the annual "Manchester United vs What Ever Team We're Playing" thread which is normally created after you've scored a goal to give you the lead has not reared it's ugly head yet has it? I wonder why eh?

Danny Murphy penalty ring any bells?

You can't even do a decent job.

Say Liverpool win, they're still behind and United have a game in hand. Chelsea losing also at the moment although they did have a late kick off due to a "suspicious" vehicle or something. No complaints, deserved sending off, deserved penalty. Not over just yet!!

2-0 now - can't really afford to lose again this season.

Minstrels

You're only losing so we don't get seventh spot.

Oh dear. Nice swish.

United weren't the team 7 points clear and messed it up. They lose today and you win tomorrow you'd be one point behind and United would have a game in hand still. So really they need to lose twice again and that's if Liverpool win all their remaining games and we all know they can only do that if Gerrard and Torres stay fit.

Rooney misses next game
vidic misses next game
scholes misses next game

IF we win tommorow, we are right back in it.

And why he's let Ronaldo get away with petulance all season, including his summer stirring.

Tevez replaces Rooney.
Carrick replaces Scholes.
Evans replaces Vidic.

All three would get into the Liverpool starting XI.

Good observation? That proves my point even more they had a 7 point lead and let United get 7 points in front. 1 point behind where United will have a game in hand.

But then again, two defeats in two, haven't really played very well for about two weeks. It looks like Rafa's mind games have baffled Fergie, and won Liverpool the league.

I don't think United will lose another two games. If you do then that's that. Only time will tell and when United win the league with Liverpool coming third you'll realise I was right.

21-03-2009, 05:18 PM
Liverpool will get three points tomorrow, and Chelsea have decided against challenging for the title, so Liverpool will not be finishing third. A second or first spot for Liverpool, it just depends if Man Utd can recover from this blip, and I'm not so sure they can.

I dont know though, because many ruled you out for lack of strength in depth and said United were the side. In striker they even have young players like wellbeck, in midfield, gibson had a good game on CC final, evans is a quality defender. so I guess time will tell if your right, but personally, if they are tired, it's the mangers team selection that will've caused it, not problems with the squad.

Quite unlikely when you look at the facts.

Martin O'Neil has never won in March with Villa, and let's face it, Villa are in pretty poor form. Liverpool on the other hand, beat two of the top teams in Europe last week, and done it scoring 8 goals.

Either a Liverpool victory, or a more unlikely draw, if you ask me. Sorry to disappoint you Man Utd fans.

we played poor again! No excuses and fair sending offs, even rooney's. Still any would rather be in our position than any others.

If liverpool were consistent i would be alot more worried. Still confident especially with that game in hand, and hopefully villa will do us a favour tomorrow!
