Great move! Lot's of fans have gained millions of requests to purchase tickets for people, and they've not even gone on sale yet! Going to be a sell out I tell you! It's finally feeling like we can win this!

Definitely gonna be a full house (although it probably would be anyway).

My friend had the pleasure of going to Blackpool's ground earlier this season in the pouring rain in a stand with no roof in half a ground which meant no protection from the wind on a freezing cold night and paid £27 for the privilege.

Didnt Man city do something like this last year? £5 for adults and £1 because when i went manchester with my sports course we had a ground tour of utd and city and i swear i saw an ad for man city having cheap prices for a game.

Bound to attract alot more than usuall.

Well done to City for doing this.

Might not be right but there seemed to be a few empty seats when you played last time in uefa cup at home. Should encourage more people to come.

Most probably the FA Youth Cup Final, £1 for adults and free for under 16s. Or the Fulham game I think it was where it was £5 or something? I don't pay attention to the prices in the PL.

Not bad, some of the prices for games now are ridiclous.

I've spent like £300 on away games this season and like £200 with my train there!, and now we might be going into administration. :(

******** did Manchester City do it for their fans

City have averaged 43,000 in the Premier League this season but have failed to attract more than 26,000 during their European campaign.

any ideas, why they did it now?!?!

And why is that? Do you know how many City fans have been getting texts, calls, emails and getting asked in person to get fellow blues a ticket?

Jealous because your little Villa ****** it up or trying (and failing) to troll my posts because of a previous incident? Which may I add you came dogs bottom out of.

It was most probably the Fulham one then, I remember City doing something for that because everyone was buzzing.
A) We could send 'em down
B) We were 2:0 up in the first 20 odd minutes
C) It was a decent day!

Well duh... it was asked of Cook to do something to attract the fans at a Q&A. However it wasn't certain of what they we do however they did promise to do something. Never did the fans dream they would do this.

So if you don't class that lowering the tickets to attract fans isn't doing something for the fans then you're deluded.

I did that about 2 months ago. Terrible. It also goes against FA regulations and should be changed but nothing ever does :(.

Are you going to fund it? Because Blackpool can't. Why do you think some lower league clubs still have terraces, even though they've been banned for years?

You have no idea what I'm talking about.

I can't be bothered to dig out the rule book but it basically says that if a club offers tickets to an away club equal to or greater than the price of a ticket for the home fans than their accommodation must be equal to or greater than that of the home fans. Not the case in Blackpool.

I'll try and find the rule.

I see you're new to the game. In football, in fact in most things which concern a ticket we have these things called ticket touts. These people sell tickets for way over the odds to whoever will buy them, in this case it was rags.
