Apprenticeship help

Hey Guys,
Im Really confused, im not sure in ROI if it is different but i was looking through Apprenticeship Courses and decided i would like to take up plumbing i have been looking into it for a few days now and know its a four year course, i also asked people on yahoo answers could they help me but im still really confused, some people said Ring them up and make an appointment but im not sure what i have to say :(
