What an interesting race!

ATM:

Button 1st
Hamilton 5th

Hope it's not red flagged :(.

EDIT: Race red flagged, I now have no idea what happens!

They are going to see waht happens to the weather.

They are all starting again from their starting positions if it's deemed suitable to drive.

Teams can work on cars, but they cannot re-fuel.

If they can't start again, teams and drivers will only get half points because less than 75% of the race was completed.

Update: at 11:30 UK time there will be decison made weather to complete 10 laps under safty car or not, however if the weather does not improve, they will not risk it!

Was about to post a thread.
They won't restart now, it would be stupid if they did. Shame because it was a good race aswell.

Was a good race indeed, had me fixated!

hopefully they will get 75% of the race completed so all drivers in the top 8 can get the full points that they deserve and not the half that they are getting at this moment in time though.

Well done to Button & Hamilton.

The FIA are ordering the cars onto the grid into their rightful positions.
If the race does restart it will probably be behind a safety car for quite some time they've said.

Update: Cars are being lined up in order on grid and a decison will be made within next 10-15 mins. They willl be given 10 min warning.

UPDATE: RESTART IN 10 MINS. Cars 3-16 will start 1min ahead of others.

Race being restarted!

but it's not actually being restarted, very confused, it's turning into a shambles.

UPDATE: News coming in now from Nico Rosberg's Team Radio suggests that every car on the grid will have a 90 second head start over the front 3 drivers Jenson Button, Timo Glock and Nick Heidfeld in the restart. Looks asif the race will restart now.
Don't really understand that.

It gives everyone accept for the top 3 to un-lap themselves.

they won't get around the track anywhere near 90seconds anyway so it's totally irrelevant.

Gonna get owned lol.
There's a Ferrari in the garage and not out on the track so it looks like one of the Ferrari's has retired from this race.

With only 10 minutes now until the 2 hour time slot for racing is up, it looks asif the race will not be restarting. The teams arn't too sure what's going on at the moment though.
Anyone see the fans sliding down the hill? Lol looks like their enjoying themselves :P.
EDIT: Sorry for double post, merge them.

I wouldn't like to be covered in mud in those sorts of weather conditions, but fair play to em!

And yeah, another win for Button!

UPDATE: Race Control has just said that the race will not be restarted.
Well I guess that's that. Good podium for Glock & Heidfeld but very lucky.

Was a good race even though we only saw 60% of it :P

This is why F1 is boring now. Too many rules, regulations and ****. Just let them race. If it's dangerous., slow down or crash. Simple.

WRC is much more entertaining.

To be fair the race I watched wasn't boring. (the first 30 laps anyway)

Well no but the race wasn't finished it's stupid. They should build cars to cope.

I thought it was a really good race.

Would be nice to see button actually win a race by himself, he deserves it
