View Full Version : Man United vs Everton team news

Gary Neville and Rafael da Silva have been passed fit for United, while Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick should recover from knocks in time to play.
Paul Scholes, Park Ji-sung and Carlos Tevez are among those likely to start.

Everton manager David Moyes must decide whether to risk striker Louis Saha, who has had a stomach virus.
On-loan striker Jo is cup-tied but Joseph Yobo and James Vaughan have recovered from injuries and are included in Moyes' squad.

Man Utd (from): Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Neville, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Rafael, Fabio, O'Shea, Evans, Ronaldo, Anderson, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson, Carrick, Park, Nani, Giggs, Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, Macheda.

Everton (from): Howard, Hibbert, Lescott, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Pienaar, Neville, Rodwell, Fellaini, Cahill, Yobo, Saha, Vaughan, Nash, Gosling, Jacobsen, Van der Meyde, Castillo, Baxter.

Glad Jo's cup-tied. Cahill, Saha, Osman and Fellaini are the main threats i think.

I second that, i've never seen a FA Cup Semi-Final ticket.

But then again I guess it is convenient for you seeing as though you probably live in London, have never been to Manchester, and you decide you'd go and watch them at Wembley because it's closer to your home, and your to much of a glory hunter to be bothered to go up to Manchester and watch them in earlier rounds/the league.

Backstabbing noob. I sticked up for you when creat:ve was giving you a hard time.

Just because you support a low-profiled club who is hardly know across the world with little success - It doesn't make you any different from being a glory hunter.

So i support a Club who is arguably the biggest and one of the most successful teams in the world makes me a glory hunter?

Even if we were in the Blue Square Premier League i would still support them.

I'm not like some people who when their Club loses a Competition/Game/Player will walk away from them and support a different team.

Oh piss off why don't you.
We used to be one of the best clubs in the world. We've won the FA Cup 4 times, got to the first EVER UEFA Cup final, won a number of smaller trophies, we were the joint founders of the Football League, and our stadium is the joint oldest stadium in England along with Stoke's Brittania Stadium.
We're known around the world mate, and yeah - you'd probably be forced to support them by your dad or something .

- I hope you do.

- Yes, that and that you don't go to games and don't care for anything related with them.
A signed shirt for example. Oh wait, you made that up.

- er, no you wouldn't. You probably wouldn't know who they were, and wouldn't have any interest at all. They wouldn't be on TV and you don't and wouldn't go to games as you don't even now. That's a ridiculous comment - you wouldn't.

And to above: You already have Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo, Macheda, Welbeck.Ronaldo's preferred position is RM as said by him but he can play striker when needed. Welbeck and Macheda are still learning and will be used as subs for a while yet. Tevez isn't strong in the air like Berbanob is so we'd need a striker like Carew, as we throw a lot of balls into the box.

NOTW reported in the paper this morning that Manchester United are lining up Kaka if Ronaldo goes. (but can you really trust the NOTW?)

and I heard that Ribery said he wants to go to Barcelona or Real Madrid, can't really remember as I heard it last week, but meh, that's just hearsay.

We're a successful club world wide which is what he wants. We wouldn't try to give him 500k a week wages either.

And you also wont offer 75 million, hence not being able to compete because we inflated his price in January. He's untouchable for anyone in the PL.

Obviously that would be the same as every player. But tbh Ronaldo can do things with a ball that NO ONE else can do - including Kaka.

I'd still prefer to see Ronaldo in the Premiership rather than Kaka or Ribery.

Although I have a very sneaky suspicion that Ribery will be going to City in the summer.

This also means he's untouchable for anyone in the rest of the world then :P

Everybody hates Ronaldo but at the end of the day, we have the best player in the world playing for the best league in the world.

Debt...If we can fork out £30m to buy Berbanob then I'm sure if we had the funds to buy Kaka we would..

kaka maybe?

Hmm yeah but i think 75 million for Kaka is far over priced. The only players in the world who are worth that are Gerrard and Ronaldo and maybe messi.

I would love to see Kaka at Old trafford but seeing as hes 27 and for 75 million i just don't know.

Were in about 1B in debts now thanks to the Glazers. So the possibility
of signing Kaka are going to be small.

Ribery's tied down at Munich afaik.

How was your first United game anyway?

This is my 7th game actually. ;)

Not bad for a glory hunter. ;)
