Okay, as some of you might remember I bought a Holden (vauxhall?) Vectra earlier this year. Now I want to install some neon lights on the inside of the car.
But I am having a lot of trouble, I couldn't find anything on Google for installing them because it's not the 'usual' type of car. The dashboard (i presume thats what its called) goes from one side to the other and I don't really wanna take the whole thing off!!

The 'screws' near the top of the photo in the middle aren't actually screws, just holes..

So any help is really apreciated. +repz!

my advice would be to either not do it, or if you really want to, then join a vectra forum. there will be tons of advice on there mate.

Mmm!

I was thinking of either going to a proper car electrician or what ever they are, or get dad to help make the two cables into one and use the cigarette plug like it originally comes!

um, just link it to another power source ie glovebox light, the wires behind and going to the cigarette lighter.. you don't have to take out the dash but you'll probably have to take out some parts like the glovebox/radio/centre console.

best you can get, if you cant do it after that i would just say give up, its not worth the hassel at all.

Yes, thats what i mean though.. you cannot take it out! You have to take the whole thing off.. Its one giant piece of plastic (or what ever material it is)...

i don't think you understand. the radio can come out with radio keys. the glovebox comes out by either torx screws or clips (as in, you have to pull it out then 'clip' it out), there is a join between the centre console (the bit with the gear**** in) and the main dash.
