How terrible :(
They're just ******* sad some people. They got what they wanted (Money), so why couldn't they just let him go?

What really struck me about this story is his calmness and professionalism upon hearing the news.

"The lad had heard from his family at one in the morning what had happened, and his brothers, I believe, have identified the body," he said.

"He sat around the hotel lobby with his case packed until 7am because he didn't want to wake me."

the only thing i can think of is that they've been fearing the worst because of the length anyway.

This isn't confirmed? So it might not even Wilson Palacios' brother. I think that's the reason he's keeping calm at the moment because it isn't 100% certain that they were the bones of his brother, Edwin Palacios.

Real shame. Shows what a great professional he is, with all this looming over him he has still managed to play and play very well.

That's why I love him already. He always gives 100% on and off the pitch (which is more than can be said for a certain defender atm).

Just proves how much of a gentlemen he is too, waiting 6 hours to ask the manager if he can fly home to mourn a family member's death.

Yeah, I remember seeing him when I went to the JJB when he still played for Wigan. Fantastic player, was all over the pitch.
