Diego [Werder Bremen > Juventus [21.5m]]
Quaresma [Inter Milan > Genoa] Need Confirmation
Hyypia [Liverpool > Bayer Leverkusen [Free]]

Elsewhere, Beckford has near enough just been transfer listed.

Diego's quality player, happy for him getting a big move.
and Beckford needs to be bought by a Championship club, definately not a Premiership club. I think he's overrated, I'd like to see how he does against Championship defenders and not L1 defenders. However I do think that with the right club at the right price could be a good buy. The boy has talents, I don't think they're Prem standard though.

Wolverhampton

Wolves are rumoured to be after Huddleston, but Spurs apparently wanted £8M for him which is pretty absurd, the papers are saying that Wolves now don't want to sign him because of the price that they were quoted, but I was thinking, maybe a year long loan deal could be the solution?

And apprently we are after Nicky Butt too, got good experience, ok player, not totally sure though on that one though.

One things for sure, we need a few defenders and one Premiership quality striker (Cisse? Owen? maybe NOT rofl.)

We're signing Paul Scoooooles
cos we've got Tony Scholes
n he knows Paul Scholes!

On the stoke forum, there's supposed to be someone who works inside the club who is allowed to give us clues lol, whether he's on a wind-up or not. We're supposedly trying to sign 7-9 players. 1 striker worth 8-11 million (3choices : cisse, crouch or bent) a play-maker (oneill, scholes, or huddlestone) a loan player from top 4. and then not sure on others yet. (The names mentioned are all guesses ;))

The BBC sports website is FAR more reliable than SkySports - they publicise so much crap about transfers. If SkySports didn't exist, this whole thing about Ronaldo moving to Real Madrid wouldn't of been as big as it is, they just blew it out of all proportion and never let it die, NEVER.

Well from like the two games I have saw him play in, he hasn't really lit up the match, but then again, i haven't seen him all that much so... But spending £25m on a player who is not really proven at highest level is a big risk, but is a risk that only Chelsea or Man City could take.

Well the guy said it was a coincidence i just started posting at that time, i can see his point.

Also, like him i dont particulary like glory supporters, theres nothing wrong with just liking football in general, lots of people in the business do, but i do disagree with claiming to support a club yet not actually supporting it properly.

Anyway it's pointless talking about it..

According to setanta the Galatasaray player mehmet topal says he would swap his team to play in the permier league any day.

I'm not too familiar with the player but have seen him a few times and he didnt seem too bad. This follows interest from both liverpool and everton.

Source:

http://www.setanta.com/uk/Articles/Football/2009/06/08/Prem-Topal-on-moving-to-England/gnid-56315/

I think if any of those clubs, he;d be better at everton considering liverpool already have a pretty strong side.

Milan? No, Real want them all :P

Fact is, 60m for Kaka, the same if not more for Ronaldo, I'd say about 70m, ribery about 50m, xabi alonso about 20m and villa about 35m, now then - that's 235m.

So, RvN will go for about 5m at most, Robben about 15m, VdV about 10m, Diarra about 5m, Heinze about 2p.

It's not going to work unless they have massive cash reserves.

He's a natural goalscorer that ahs proved himself in the PL and La Liga (45 goals in 60 odd games I think). If it's only 1.5m or whatever then why not? Bent will hopefully be off anyway and Pavluchenko's future is hanging by a thread. He's still a good player even though he's 32. If we get him, we may even score a goal from a corner lol. Plus his very presense is a great marketing tool overseas and attracting decent players.

transfer news today; Bayern Munich say Man Utd have been in contact about the possible signing of frank Ribery, Tevez is on his way to Chelsea, Wolves signing Milijas may not go through as he has not been granted a work permit, and Liverpool are to sign Glen Johnson for £19M, and Torres has urged Benitez to sign David Villa.

Hope all these signings go through, Ribery could have a big impact at Utd, Tevez would do very well at Chelsea, and I love his style of play, I hope Wolves sign the Serb as we are in need of a few midfielders, and IF Liverpool sign Johnson and Villa then they WILL will the league next season, what a team they would have, Villa and Torres up front...

Wouldnt mind him like, but 17 mil is a bit too much. Also, we will see if he wants to play for Liverpool this way or if he is a money grabber :D

Wolves
19-06-2009, 05:06 PM
I'm almost certain that he will choose Liverpool over Chelsea, I know I would, even if Chelsea did offer more money, plus he has bad memories of Chelsea also, they messed him about, he should realize that.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5388312,00.html

what would you think of the legend himself coming back to anfield?

Jack.Lfc
19-06-2009, 05:15 PM
He's not a legend, he was a good player for us but not a legend. The way he left us, we could have got alot more for him. Wouldnt sign a contract little ****. Hope he breaks his leg and has to stay in the championship.
