still seems to be a lot of confusion

i dont think city are owned or will be gutted, they tried to sign him, it didn't work. i doubt they were going to go for him again anyway. if anything, it looks like chelsea were going to try their luck

rather have barry and ireland :)

no.. not really.. i'm not gutted or owned though.. i'd rather spend the 100M or whatever on 6 15M signings.

edit: I don't think he's signed, these are rumours reported by a radio station.. no official has spoken to these.

Well atleast they won't be chasing Ronaldo now. Perhaps Milan will?

Wolverhampton

Kaka won't go their, these rumours have been about for years.

If anything, he'll go to Chelsea, as they have his old manager and they'd offer silly amounts such as £60M+

TBH what's stopping City offering the £86M again? If they offer that and Madrid offer the £56, Milan will obviously take Manchester Cities offer, even if the player liked it or not, as if the rumours are true he must be considering leaving Milan? so Milan could just say, ok, your considering Madrids offer, we have recieved a £86M offer from Manchester City, we want you to go their as they have offered £30M more?

Who knows.

SSN have already changed their story to that the bid has been confirmed rather than he has signed; a vast difference.

Lol when I saw "Kaka signed for Milan for 56m" on BBC I was like :o

Anyway its all a big rumour and I personally think he will stay for this season at all.

Also why would Milan reject 100m offer for a 56m?

Wolverhampton
02-06-2009, 08:08 PM
TBH it was rumoured earlier that Chelsea had already made an offer, but they didn't make that story massive like they did with this offer.

SSN = stupidity.

Florentino Perez has promised that the era of the galactico will return and he's made a swift move after being appointed yesterday.

They got £££££ in their sights.

I can really see him goin Chelsea though, cause of the whole Ancielotti thing...

And everyone knows Chelsea have been chasing Kaka for sometime. (if the speculation over the past few years has been correct.)

Immenseman

i wouldn't blame him for picking madrid over chelsea though although they havent put a bid in i from what i know

Wolverhampton

Abramovich has got pretty deep pockets, he could buy anyone if he wanted. :P

mm I suppose. but I heard that that 50 mil involves money from Ab's back pockets so I dunno. Kaka is a huge signing, so if they agreed a fee I'm such Ab would go that bit further.

bargain. 58 million for a top player who may now spend the rest of his career at the club.

It's NOT a world record fee though!

Real bought Zidane for more in Euros than they bought Kaka, it's just the value of our pound that makes it look more expensive.

example?

oh nvm i remembered Shevchenko, Deco etc. :l

Shevchenko for £30m was probably one of the most stupid deals ever made in world football. anyone top it?
