Well, what a signing that would be.

But then again, can we believe SkySports news?

Really hope it's true! would love to see him in the PL! would see him at the Molineux next season!

EDIT: forgot to put the word 'bid' in thread name, lmao, oh well!

Will get a SkySports/BBC Sports source when they publish a story.

Can't see him coming here.

Wolverhampton

And why is that? he's stated before he'd like to play in the PL sometime, and with Ancielotti at Chelsea, I think it'd make perfect sense for him to come, and obviously their is also the money factor.

And tbh, what ever the Spanish team offer for him, The English club would always be able to offer more for him.

Yeah just saw this. I'd like to see him in the premier league also. I thought Ambramovich wasn't so keen to splash the cash any more. It's not like they've just out bid Madrid they just whacked on 20 million.

If you were Milan you'd take Chelsea's offer, and TBH, if you were Kaka you would take Chelsea's offer, better future propositions (CL ect) and also your old manager is their.

Don't see why he wouldn't come to this country, only reason I can think of is the weather! :P

50% tax puts off a load of players although they are ways around it. italians also seem to think that spanish football is similar to italian.

Their football is completely different.

And did you read the link I posted? they offered £10M a year after tax. So really £20M a year, then 50% tax off.

We also have the best league in the world, why wouldn't he want to go to Chelsea? they Pros out-weigh the Cons.

don't know about this one, yes he could move because it's a big club and ancelotti is there, but he leaves his own club and chelsea have A lot of midfielders which would probably take out lampard.

Drogba

Anelka(maybe?) Lampard Kaka J.Cole
Ballack

A.Cole Terry Carvalho Boswinga

Cech

They're selling Deco apprantly so it'd clear the way a little.

essien > ballack

Wolverhampton

Where would Essien fit in? unless he played on the left?

I love Essien, maybe he'd replace Ballack, as Ballack isn't getting any younger.

Immenseman

Yeah, that's what my judgement was based on. Age. I think they'd get shot of Anelka or Drogba and play Malouda on the right. Anelka is a better player but Malouda is better on the wing. Kaka will be the best player on their team should they sign him so someone will have to get the chop

Wolverhampton

But then you would be leaving out J.Cole? but I agree, they also need some proper wing players as they're kind of one dimensional, they come inside all the time, never play the wide game.

Immenseman

I meant play Malouda on the left and J. Cole on the right and Essien instead of Ballack then the same team as you said.

Wolverhampton
03-06-2009, 05:07 PM
True, but still Malouda doesn't offer as much wing play as I'd like to see. He does come inside quite often, don't know why they sold Robben/Wright-Phillips, they added balance to the Chelsea side.

I would drop Ballack just for the Terry / Carvalho partnership.

He's already stated that sometime in his career he wants to play for Real Madrid and play in the PL.
