Ex-England striker Matt Le Tissier has admitted he was part of a failed Premier League betting scam.

The Southampton legend deliberately tried kick the ball out of play at the start of a 1995 match.

He had bet there would be a throw-in within the first minute. If his plan had worked out he stood to win £10,000.

Shocking! even though it wouldn't have effected the outcome of the game, it's still a bit bad, bare in mind that £10,000 back then is like £100,000 nowadays, which makes it quite bad.
