Heya,

Is there like some sort of list or website as to where I can find a full list of all University open days? I know a lot have been already but I haven't got around to visiting any yet and would obviously like to visit some before I make decisions.

Thanks :)

haha would be good :P you'll be lucky to get into any open days i think, but, you can contact the uni and ask if you can visit and lie that you couldnt get to the open day date.

I visited warwick last year and they said it was fine (Y)

The best thing to do about open days is check through you universities you want to go to and which courses are available. Dont just go to any too see what they're like, you will get confused with what's there and what you actually want, I know a lot of people in my year did :S. Also, if you check on the university websites, they will show things that the openday sites wont, also you can find out if certain open days are available for your course etc. as well, makes it easier for you to pick which course you want to do and which uni you want to do it at.

I kept to using UCAS for finding out my open days, not sure if they tell you about them anymore though.

Geesh, Jake you will get it. You big nerd.

Hm i dont know if i can get into UCL you need ABB i think.
And i did pretty crap for AS levels..
So i might do Art Foundation at art institute for a year then apply at UCL.

kk.

I got bbcd, dropped the C, and this year i got BBD, so you probs will get the same. Although, i did retake my ASs (some) and got them up to aabc

Immenseman
18-09-2009, 09:33 PM
nicely done. i got a B in history but got 92% in one paper and like 63% in the other which is 4 marks off an A overall so i'm going to retake the 63% paper and should hopefully get it to like 70/80% to get the A overall and better chance of getting an A after the final year. english lit will be hard. sociology, if i do the work, will hopefully get the grade. i don't want any grades below a B.

I've been to one, which I was forced to by my college. They made everyone go to Plymouth but I'd rather not go to Uni then go to Plymouth just because it's too close. I want to go far away :D

Well my friend got AAAA in his A-Levels, and one of the exams he took in AS Physics he got a B in so he took it again and got full marks :O, Physics is like the hardest A-Level course to do as well, myself and the 2 others on the course all got U in our AS', it was epic!

The Uni itself does actually get your scores, so if you're good in coursework or exams they'll know, also if you're like 5 points etc. from getting the appropriate grade, they will probably accept you if your place couldn't be filled by someone else.
