I reckon City will win - no shame in that. Average Arsenal team age of 20 and they still beat most teams.

Depends on the squads put out but if it's a first team City squad and a similar team we put out against Liverpool then yeah City will win probably. If it's two first teams then who knows. I recon if we played something like:

Manonne, Eboue, Silvestre/Senderos, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Nasri, Song, Wilshire, Arshavin, V.Persie, Merida.

We'd have a shot. 5 First team players and 6 Reserve players but with a good balance.

Mannone probably won't play. I reckon if Fabianski's fit then it'll be him otherwise Almunia or Wojech (not attempting his second name). Gilbert played really well mid-week so I can't see Eboue stepping in, Eastmond made a solid debut and there's no doubting Merida's talents.

I think you're hopeful that it's a big game so Wenger will play a decent side - he uses youngsters every year. I reckon something like:

Wojech

Gilbert
Senderos
Djourou
Gibbs

Wilshere
Eastmond
Ramsey
Merida

Vela
Bendtner

Enough there to challenge.

Hm I'm not saying a full proper squad but with a few key changes and bringing in a bit of experience I think we can win. If Wenger sends out the same team as we played against Liverpool against City, well not much of a chance to be honest but I suppose any team can be beaten, Barca are a good example with Rubin :P Djourou's out for 6 months so Silvestre will play and he should as he played veeeeeeeeeeeeeeryy well the other day. I think Manonne could play, no reason why he shouldn't really. Front 6 I agree with though, might be a possiblity although probably be a 4-3-3. Nasri and Eduardo were key to the Liverpool win though, along with a lot of people really but wouldn't surprise me to see them too.

Wenger will play practically the same team that beat Liverpool. He will not play first-teamers other than if they have just come back from injury or something like Nasri.

I'm glad City are at home as I don't see us having any chance against Arsenal away as I don't ever remember beating them away. :P It won't be an easy game though, last time we versed Arsenal's young players we lost 3-1 I think. Fabregas was in the team too and I remember Van Persie getting an injury time free kick goal.

When is the match?

If it's in 2 weeks then he may play Rosicky, Walcott, Nasri, Eduardo, Wilshire, Vela, Bendtner as they are all coming back from injury. Those are 7 very capable players although they are all attacking.

30th November I think. Well, week commencing. Then the draw for the semis will be done straight after, first leg on week commencing 4th January 2010, 2nd leg week commencing 18th January 2010 a fortnight later.

Final is on Sunday 28th February 2010. Your welcome xoxo.
