In Physics on Monday, my teacher mentioned a pre-university physics course at Exeter Uni. Basically you go there in the summer for a few days and experience life in the Uni for a few days; this includes attending lectures, using the university's facilities and so on.

it looks quite interesting, although its only avaliable (for this specific uni) to people who do Physics at A-Level. I'm posting it here cause I know a few people on here do physics too and it's just generally interesting.

Has anyone been on these before? if so, how was it?

well ours was run by uni students, so it was just like some period away from school experiencing different levels of engineering or something. They were quite clear it was nothing like uni would be but it was very interesting and not like college, we did like projects and stuff, like we made a shower that was heated by the sun etc.
