Garion, myself & Sammeth. have been working over the past few days on implementing a Social Groups system to the forum and now they are finally here!
What are Social Groups?
Social Groups (quite like the Social Groups on facebook) are groups which you can join and discuss the topic of the group.
Who can create Social Groups?
Anybody who is a Ruby Member or higher can create 5 groups. Please note that this figure is non-renewable, you will only ever be able to create 5 groups so create them wisely.
Who can join Social Groups?
Anybody can join social groups, just click "Join" on the group you want to join.
Where can I see these groups?
You can see these groups by going here (http://www.habboxforum.com/group.php). Please note that this link will appear on the navigation bar sometime later today. You can also view new group discussions on the "What's new?" tab.
Please note, all groups must have a point, i.e. common interest, or fan page etc, no pointless groups (like most facebook groups). All groups will need to be approved by a moderator.
Please take note of our new rule, A12 which covers groups:
A12. Do not create pointless or offensive groups ~ All groups should follow the standard forum rules. They should not be pointless and should have substance relevant to the category they are placed in.
