Who's your team playing?
We've got Blackburn at home. We win, and we're safe. Probably mathematically too depending on the Hull/Burnley results. What a relief it'll be to know that we will be playing in this division next season :D.

Early Saturday kick off once again. We don't play well on early kick off's. Tottenham should be a good game, hoping for a 2-0 win.
Btw come on Blackpool! hopefully a team above them slip up so they can snatch a playoff!

Nervous for tomorrow.
A win for Spurs and loss for City should practically guarantee us 4th.
An in-form midfield and the return of Aaron Lennon has given me real belief for at least a point.

Tottenham to beat Man Utd @6.00
Sunderland to beat Hull City @2.87
Charlton to beat Exeter @2.25
Leicester to beat Preston @2.62
= £200.00 odd
Spurs obviously unlikely but 5/1 looked good value

Yup.
Altidore headbutted Hutton, and got sent off.
So Hutton gets up and receives treatment, and gets sent off himself!?
******* fuming!

Crazy stuff, heard all the fans booing the ref on SSN. And that fat steward escorting the officials off the pitch. lols.

Apparently it was for throwing the ball off him.
I would agree if he got a yellow card, but a straight red?! what the ****!
How the **** does throwing a ball off someone warrant the same punishment as headbutting someone.
Clueless reffereeing.

equally good win to Blackpool as well, Swansea lost against Sheff Utd which made them move up into the play offs. So fingers crossed Blackpool!

Walcott just got slammed!
beat mk dons 4-1 and they had like 3 men sent off... ouch!

advntage villa if they win tomorrow
CHA!NGANG
24-04-2010, 06:33 PM
EDIT: Just saw your thread, looked like a dislocated shoulder but apparently out for 6-8 months for Given, shame that. Could mean that Hart will stay with City until the Jan transfer window.
Good result for us I guess. We did pressure City for most the game but lacked the cutting edge.
AlexOC
24-04-2010, 06:37 PM
6 - 8 months, IS THAT GOOD ENOUGH!?
And i'm sorry, but Villa are just out of this, they was never really in it with all respect.

So now where in playoff for defo
Come on you Foxes!!

Yes, but a 1 point lead is irrelevant considering we have to play City, and City play Villa. It's ours to lose, but it's not in our hands lol.

It is, u dont have to rely on any other team, just your own ;)

Neither do Man City. If they beat Spurs then they go 4th. If they win all there games left, they will finish 4th no matter what and same goes for Spurs. Villa have to rely on Spurs messing up even if they do beat City.
Jack.Lfc
24-04-2010, 09:04 PM

In 2006 (when we blew it on the last day):
We beat Bolton last home game & drew at our rivals for fourth place in penultimate away game.
Blew it in last game away to a team in claret and blue.
Remaining fixtures:
Bolton (at home)
City
Burnley

But you'll be down next season. Face it, Pompey, Burnley, Hull, Wolves, Wigan and West Ham could've all gone down. You haven't been good this season, it's just that there are worse teams. Next season, with Newcastle and WBA back in the Premiership, depending on the play off team coming up, it's going to be alot harder, there'll be no teams as weak as Burnley, that's for sure.

Got a feeling Newcastle will be the only promoted team to stay up (unfortunately). Wolves aren't a bad team. They just need another goal scorer. We can't really make predictions until we see what the squads are like come August.

a few, i tell you that for true.

It was a great tackle that, you could see it was from the refs view, stupid ref. Birmingham have deserved to win this.
Dunno what the commentator is on about, about Villas season being salvaged, they are not going to get 4th, end of.
