Every four years, there is a new World Cup in an exciting location and 2018 and 2022 will be no different.
Above is a detailed chart of the teams, who are bidding to host one of the world cups and I need you to convince me why one of the countries should host it!
You can pick any of the following: Australia, Belgium & Netherlands, England, Russia, Portugal & Spain, United States, Japan, South Korea or Qatar. The most interesting and creative answer will win so post your entry in the thread, good luck!

1st Prize: 3 goals, HC Sofa, 15 reputation points
2nd Prize: 2 goals, HC Sofa, 15 reputation points
3rd Prize: 1 goal, 10 reputation points

Not entering Habbox World Cup? You can still enter! If you win, the goals will be converted into extra reputation points!

England - Is there a better place to hold the World Cup than the home of football? It's time, once again, for football to come home.

Australia: In 2006, the hype that Australia was going to the world cup was ecstatic. Soccer isn't very big in Australia, however is very big in other parts of the world. There are two main points that I believe should allow Australia host a world cup.

Increase popularity for the spot. Soccer is not very popular in Australia, the dominant sports there are Rugby League and Cricket. If host the World Cup, many more Aussies would follow the sport and it would be adopted better. :)

Moneyyyy. Only a few months ago, a Chinese tanker carrying oil "sprung a leak" over the Great Barrier Reef. This is a HUGE tourist attraction for us and it was damaged severely. This, no doubt hurt our economy and need to get this back someway or another.

Kthanks bye

England - We are hated by many for politics, we lose at many things such as Eurovision (LOL) and other contests. We deserve something to boast about. We are hosting the olympics as well so hosting the World Cup would just boost how great our country is! I think that we can utilize the Beijing Olympics concept of the Blue, Yellow, Green, Red and Black characters and we could put our own twist on it and for the World Cup, we could produce Blue Chav, Yellow Chav, Green Chav, Red Chav and the Black Gangster :) Jks. But tbh we suck so much that we need something fun :)

South Korea - They have amazing places, people, music, food, items - Everyone around the world needs to stop vouching for England and try somewhere else apart from England!

MEXICO- BECAUSE every cournty should be given a chance. and with their bit out that isn't fair.
every country should have their time to shine and with bad reports lately with the cause of (DUH DUH DUHHHHHHHH) SWINE FLU ( DUH DUH DUHHHHHHH) they should have a fair chance.
and also because MEXICO is a lovely place to visit.
So with the WORLD CUP being held their the small business could make a bit of money. So that mexico could become more of a developed country

Qatar

I believe that Qatar Should get the chance to host the next world cup, I think they could be a great aspect to the many amazing list of hosts since 1930. There are a few reasons that I think they should get the opportunity to host the world cup;

This country is not very big country that is always the spot of everybody’s attention, I think that if the world cup was playing in both of these they could benefit greatly from all of the attention, helping the economy and the country in general. There would be more attraction to the country, as people may have not seen before. This was also the situation for this years world cup (2010)

On the world map, you can see that the country itself is not a very large country, and me myself have never heard of Qatar before now. this could be a great asset to the country, and could boost all of their country and a beneficial way.

It would be quite a good country to explore, the weather is a good condition for football, and the country itself would be a great place for supporters all over the world to visit, seeing all different sites, which most of them would never of seen before!

Russia would be an interesting place - (apart from the fun of playing football on an ice rink), they have never hosted it before. Russia has fabulous history to go with it and it has some very nice women. Moscow's "Castles" are particularly good, they look like big chocolate truffles and they are known all over the world. It's about time football was hosted in a country which is known for a famous landmark I think!

It's also the largest country in the world so it obviously has loads of big stadiums, probably unoticed too due to Russia not really being known for it's love of football.
They chose the hosting country on which one can best move the game forward, taking football to the next stage and I'm sure Russia could cook something up.

Qatar should host the world cup because Its a nice country and i have never heard of it since i read it on here. It is a hot country and i think it would be fair on the England players to be nice and warm to play After this cold African weather !

Russia.

For centuries, Russia has been a vast amount of land of mystery waiting to be revealed - and now the time has come! Never before has the FIFA World Cup been held in a country with so many cultures, languages and ways of life.

It is a beautiful country and in every single city, there will be something that interests you. It's a country of endless and beautiful cultural perspectives and home to over 180 nationalities, so in a way, its a world on its own.

It is a nation of of progress and pride & it's people are very open hearted and welcoming! Russia may not be the best football team, but that doesn't mean that they are not fans. Football, is a passion for many Russian's and is very important.

It is also a historic chance for the FIFA World Cup brand to inspire Eastern Europe by choosing a Host Country from the former Soviet block. It is an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It is an amazing tournament guaranteed to surprise its visitors and guests, whilst trying to achieve its mission to build "a better future for the world by using the power and popularity of football."

Another one of its missions is to surprise and astound the world of football hosted in a country sitting at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Russia will take football to new hearts and minds, reaching young people across Russia, Central Asia and the Middle East with the legacy that only football can provide.

Not only that, but Russia is almost ready for the World Cup! It already has five stadiums that are currently underway that are due to be finished in 2013! It has invested $10 billion on the tournament.

Russia's women are considered one of the most beautiful women in the world and Russian Slavic women, are considered the MOST beautiful.

And finally, in every Russian home there is respect for guests and friends that come from thousands of years of cultural exchange. Russians are people of passion, ready to inspire the world.

http://www.cdnn.info/alert/travel/flag_thailand.gif THAILAND http://www.cdnn.info/alert/travel/flag_thailand.gifhttp://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.foggodyssey.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Thailand-flag-button.png&imgrefurl=http://www.foggodyssey.com/where-i-have-been/&usg=__WywSAEu9XQ1TXd5AkeCPqlqp-BY=&h=256&w=256&sz=46&hl=en&start=76&itbs=1&tbnid=JfMvj6VaUav_jM:&tbnh=111&tbnw=111&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dthailand%2Bflag%26start%3D60%26hl%3De n%26sa%3DN%26gbv%3D2%26ndsp%3D20%26tbs%3Disch:1
Thailand are currently positioned at 106th on the Fifa World Rankings. To date, Thailand have never qualified for the Fifa World Cup. By making them hosts, they would automatically qualify into the group stages, giving them a chance to enjoy this for the first time. This would encourage Thailand to take part in more competitions which would benefit in many ways which also in turn would encourage other countries such as Papa New Guinea or St. Lucia to also participate in more competitive or friendly tournaments, leading the world to unite with more and more countries who were less involved before.

Life in Thailand is also very inviting - tropical, high temperatures and humidity. Temperatures range between 20°C and 35°C.

Hosting one of the worlds largest events and even participating in the World Cup would be a great achievement for Thailand. The Thai political protest in which a series of riots and protests killed over 80 people and injured more than 2100 people had only recently ended, and the news of hosting such an important event would give some sort of pride to those who suffered during the protests.
