At the News Department we are always looking to try new things, and our latest section has arrived!
As from now, the News department will be offering sports news on the site. Our Entertainment section has been going for a while now and we felt it was time to try out something new, and perhaps offer something a little different to our readers.
The new section can be found under the 'News' tab on Habbox.com and will primarily be updated with the following:
News about various sporting contests
Updates on scores/transfers and other statistics relating to sport
Updates and News on competitors from various sports
Rumours and gossip from the sporting world.
It won't be just one sport we're reporting on either. There are many different sports out there, and we will aim to cover a wide variety. International users will be looked after too, with various international sporting events being noticed. Our comment system allows readers to share their views on subjects too. Whilst this may be similar to a forum, it's more of a "log" of news, and a feed of topical news articles which may interest some readers. We have some reporters that are into sport, and felt it would be great to let them show off their passion for the topic in their writing.
The section has only just started and so the number of articles published may start off slow, but it's a work in progress. If you're going to be following the US open, which starts very soon, then there's already an article up about that!

We appreciate that not everyone will be interested in this, but our aim is keep the news pages up to date with varied and topical news. Your comments on articles are always appreciated.
