Played Ajax, lost. Played Hamburg, lost. Admittedly pre-season games. Played Manchester United, lost. Played Manchester City, lost. Played Liverpool, lost. Chelsea can not do it against the big boys.

I did debate whether to put played newcastle and lost in there because although they're a big club they're not quite a powerhouse any more.

but it still shows that they can be beaten by the smaller team :-) i welcome them to OT this season. We are less that an win behind them now which is the best possible situation because they could be another 6 points ahead :)

I don't support either team but im glad to see Liverpool are doing well considering how much financial trouble they're in there.

Glad to see Martin Kelly play the full 90 minutes against Chelsea. Had a decent game I feel.

We're not anymore? The new owners paid off most of the debt.

Agreed. He'll be playing for England soon.

It's to early to tell. I just hope he adapts into the team superbly and becomes a first team member. It will take quite a bit to knock Johnson off, but he's injured or something isn't he, so Kelly needs to use his playing time to the best affection to be noticed more :)
