I have an interview on friday with someone from an apprenticeship company to help me find an apprenticeship. It is at a local connexions centre and they did not say anything about whether its formal/informal.

Shirt, tie, pants. Easy. I wore that for my inteview. 450 applicants and I got the job and it's only a poxy little petrol station.

ALWAYS ALWAYS wear the smartest thing. It makes a good impression. Even if they tell you it's casual.

Shirt, tie, shoes, trousers and a suit jacket if you want. But always the first 4 things.

Believe me it works.

Good luck on the interview.

If it just a sit down with connexions about the possibility of the company taking you on then casual wear should be fine.

If its with an actual person from that company then smart stuff, shirt, tie, trousers, etc.

To be truthful if you aren't sure phone them up or just wear smart / casual clothes...

Good luck with it anyway :)

Wear something sensible yet smart. Get a tie, they always look good. :D
