Welcome to HabboxForum!

The Forum

You have completed the first step of joining the forum but now it is time to introduce yourself. You do not have to create a thread introducing yourself but it is a nice way to start off on the forum and get talking to other forum members.

You may or may not have used a forum before, but if you haven't then don't worry because it's really simple and easy to navigate around. The forum has 8 sections available to you, all with a different purpose. The sections are listed below with an explanation as to what they are about.

This section is used for special announcements to inform the rest of the forum what is going on around Habbox.
The different announcements you might find in this section are:

Job openings - These announcements let you know if a certain department is opening applications for you to become staff.
Big Events and Competitions - Habbox often run large events and competitions so announcements are made to give you more information on how the event is running, and winners are often announced at the end.

Habbo Events - The official Habbox Events team post announcements to inform you when events are happening on Habbo so you can go along and join in.

At the top of this section you have the 'Welcome to HabboxForum/Goodbye' forum which is where you are now. This is where people post if they are new to the forum, or if they are leaving the forum.

Below this you then have the 'Congratulations and Thank Yous!' forum. This forum is used to congratulate forum members for something they have achieved such as getting a promotion at Habbox or even passing their driving test.

Top tips!

Here are a few top tips to make yourself feel comfortable with the forum.

Don't be afraid to contribute to a discussion. The more you post the more you will get to know people around the forum, so if you don't know anyone around the forum this is a great way to start getting to know people.
Get involved with entering competitions and joining in on the events. This again is a great way to get to know people around Habbox and also helps to make your experience here a lot more interesting and fun.
Don't be scared to be yourself and give your own opinion, not everyone may agree with you but that is what creates discussion and makes the discussion more interesting.
Although you may like to stick to posting in one part of the forum, try and post around in other sections too as you may find them just as interesting.
Don't be scared to ask questions as there will always be someone that will be happy to help you.
Try not to be just part of the discussion, but be the person who actually starts the discussion! It's always great to have different and interesting discussions going on.

Finally, make sure you check out the rules which can be found here (http://www.habboxforum.com/faq.php?faq=rules_main#faq_rules_forum). Read through them carefully and make sure you stick to them!

If you're unsure on anything then don't hesitate to ask questions or you can even check the FAQ here (http://www.habboxforum.com/faq.php).

We hope you enjoy your stay at HabboxForum :)
