I don't think i've seen this thread before but yeah, when you go on holiday, what do you do to keep yourself entertained? Bring an ipod? A Nintendo DS? Attempt to join the mile high club? Post in here and give each other ideas for when they/you go on holiday.

Also, if anyone has an original idea, i'll give em somethin pretty.

Hide in the overhead compartments and jump onto the flight attendants as they walk around, saying "RIDE 'EM COWBOY!"

The perfect way to entertain onesself.

Or of course you could just sleep. That works too.

I just look outside at the clouds - it amazes me.

I either watch the tv, listen to music, play the ds or sleep. Those normally pass the time quite well. :)

Watch the film if its anything decent... listen to some of the radio stations if anything decent is on :P

If nothing decent is on then i try to get some sleep

I listen to music all the time on the plane, and if I get really bored I will watch the movie even if I hate it. But I also find the clouds fascinating.

I do looooong flights pretty often, so it's all the basics, ipod, film, bit of coursework

Then just for the lols last time I decided it would be fun to faint in the aisle so fell on the floor and blacked out for a while.
Usually I just have my laptop open with some form of game/story/paint etcetc open. :P

Sleep.
Watch a movie.
Read a book.

This generally keeps me occupied on most flights to and from Florida! :P

I've attempted to sleep or try and organise what films I watch. I remember watching one film then break and another film and not long after that I was off! 13 hours flight by the way ;)

I've only ever been to one place on a plane before and I read a book all the way there, and on the way back I slept - it was only a two hour flight, anyway, and I was really scared (I was younger at the time).

Most flights I've been on are reallllly long..
So I mostly listen to my iPod, look out at the clouds for a few hours maybe? Sometimes I go to sleep and if the plane has a good selection of music which my iPod does not - which is extremely unlikely, my iPod has the best songs ever, Christina Aguilera and everythg - but yeah, listen to plane music sometimes..

Adopt the fetal position because there isn't inflight wifi or an under-18s bar.

Alternatively, read a book.

Considered this a couple of times if we do some internal flights within the US but we haven't seen it on any of the trans-atlantic flights yet :'(!!
