Hi,
I'm going to do a day of Work Shadowing at a newspaper on Friday and I've been told the dress code is "smart for an office".

I'm guessing this means shirt and tie, but do you think black suit jacket too?

Thank you! :)
Matt

i'd just wear a shirt tbh, idk why you'd need a blazer working at a newspaper but heh what do i know about dressing... i just throw my clothes in the air and see what lands on me first

I would wear a shirt & tie with a jacket the first day and then you can see what the others are wearing for the rest of the week. Sounds really interesting! :)

Inseriousity.

Exactly what I think, I mean you can always just take it off?

I don't think the jacket is necessary, just wear a shirt and tie!
Hope it goes well Mathew :)

i was given a tip about this kind of stuff! over dress smart because then you can at least tone it down if its too smart.

best to be oversmart than undersmart
